1941 Overland Winterfliegerkombi - Front
Dated 1941, and manufactured by Karl Heisler of Berlin, this overland suit represents the last stage in Fliegerkombi development, its configuration matching exactly the late specimens of the summer and electrically wired models. Note the reorientation of the fly from a horizontal to a vertical position. It also represents the final successor to the "Bavarian" suit design, per LV 40 Nr.736. The garment was sold through Striegel & Wagner and is marked to Hptm. Alfred Ennsler. Unfortunately the unit marking (possibly "KG__") is illegible.
